At the 22th of November, the fleet of ARC+ set sails to cross the atlantic ocean. Seren Wen was one of these boats. It took us 15 days to reach Grenada in the Caribbean.
In the first days we sailed with the parasailor and were quite fast. When we came closer to the caribbean islands, the squalls occurred more frequently. As the winds can increase easily up to 30 knots, it can be dangerous to recover the parasailor, especially during the night. Therfore we decided to sail wing on wing with the out boomed genoa on the luv side and with the staysail on the lee side. That worked quite well.
